Shambles and Showers

I'm trying to show how narrow the street is. It is called the shambles and dates back to medieval times. Each level of the buildings sticks out a little further until on the top level you could play pat-a-cake with your neighbor.
While amblling along the Shambles, the showers caught us off guard
