Although you can't really see - there is a wedding taking place in the choir and main alter of York Minster. When the prayers were over and the deal sealed the choir and organ burst forth into vigorous song. I am enamoured of the choir and organ in the cavernous stone cathedrals. It shakes right through to your bones. I thought the Duke of York himself the groom. It was spiritual for me; and then the bride and groom cut out to the side aisle - this groom did'nt have a kilt, but a torquoise waistcoat bright tennis shoes. It was a spiffy example of true self-expression.
