Yes, I agree- Wow. It looks like a hotel!! I can't wait to see it in real life. It's sad to think that I have only been there once when it was still being built. If only I lived closer...
I think that is one of the most beautiful houses I have ever seen. Maybe because I remember Mom talking about every decision - I could see the house in my mind even before it was completed and I was there in person. After spending a week in that place, I can say that Mom is all around. She is watching over Dad and it is truly a wonderful home - even though Dad seems to drowned in all of it's space sometimes. I know Mom loves the finished product and it is actually a very peaceful, happy place. We need to throw many a party since that is what she would have wanted. I wish she could have sat on her screened porch and looked over the Henefer valley that she loved so much. She would have loved waking up and seeing Grandpa Edison out with the swather cutting the hay on the dry farm. I am still so amazed that she passed away in the place she grew up. I think East Fork was her favorite place, but Henefer was definitely a close second.
