I WAS THERE...

Shepard Fairey poster
At least that is what I will be saying Wednesday morning. I am leaving in an hour to go to DC for the inauguration. Can you say "what a shocker!" I just want to get cozy with 4-5 million other fellow citizens to witness history. It really would never make sense to another, but Obama's journey to the presidency is a sort of personal metaphor for my own journey the last four years. Nervous, anxious, hopeful excitement is brewing. I've got to go and pack my warm clothes. Look for me... I'll be wearing an ice blue puffy coat and a bright pink hat. This song is repeating over and over in my mind this morning... click here.

Heck yes you can come visit! Let's see on Wednesday, I have fourth period off, or after sixth. I have those two times where I can squeeze in a few minutes. that would be either 1100 to 1130 or 1530 to 1600. I know they are only small windows, but I would still love to see you if you can fit those in! Let me know and I'll set up a meeting place. Thanks!

What a great experience for you. We are happy you got to go. I think I saw you on t.v.-he he. We were planning on coming up to Logan the weekend of the new year, but that is when we all got incredibly sick. It was awful, and to make things worse Nate got Shingles this week. Poor guy, he has had a horrible month. We will definately see you guys next time we come out, which will not be in the winter time.

I checked out the "man cold" clip on you tube. I needed a good laugh, that was pretty funny and so freaking TRUE! Thanks for sharing that with me.
