Where is Red House?

Darrin, Kelsey, Marty, Una and I went on an excursion to see William Morris' Red House. We walked all over and no one in the town seemed to know where it was. One policeman actually told us to just "follow our nose" and we would locate the home. We finally decided it would be on Red House Lane and at last we were there.

Watch This Space!

In a courtyard outside the National Theatre many free productions were held. This top one was a cultural dance display where the crowd participated. Sort of like the "Big Dance" at Trafalgar Square. The bottom picture is of a fire truck that shot fireworks and water at everyone in the crowd. I went home soaking wet. Even people who were standing up on the Waterloo Bridge were in the soak zone. They would never allow anything like this at home. It was a riot.

The Embankment Walking Bridge

Looked forward to walking across the bridge to the tube station after the theatre. The buildings lit up - St. Paul's to the right, Big Ben to the left. the lights reflecting off the boats to the river below.
